So, I was walking around the Riverwalk area in Augusta, Georgia today, with a couple of friends. Along the way, we wandered into an old churchyard of a church established in 1750. While taking pictures of gravestones, I recalled the Daily Create for today, number 553, so I took a couple of reference shots of my eyes.
Later, alone in the hotel, I sketched my left eye with pencil on the hotel-provided notepad. I think it turned out ok, though a bit abstract without the rest of the face.
If you’re ever in Augusta, be sure to see the James Brown statue and eat dinner at the Boll Weevil on James Brown Blvd.
